The Spirit of Christmas

Chris and I have been looking for a fake Christmas tree for the past two weeks. We decided not to get a new one because we didn't want to have to deal with the needles drying up and falling all over the floor and then having to take it to the trash compactor around the block.

We went to Target a couple of weeks ago to discover that all the trees were all over $75.and pre-lit. The one $30 not pre-lit tree looked so scrawny it was too pathetic to buy. I didn't want to spend $75 on a fake tree nor was I about to buy a six-foot tree with four little bitty branches. So we left thinking that we'd go looking elsewhere.
